Experience:
I have experience in schools, hospital, and community-based agencies across the United States. Though my focus has recently been on teens, I specialize in all ages. I utilize a variety of treatment methods, which include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), to address the concerns of my clients. Specific areas include trauma, anxiety/depression, substance use disorders, grief/loss, parent-child conflict, and severe mental health disorders, among many other concerns. Most importantly, I aim to provide culturally- and spiritually-sensitive treatment services to meet the needs of my clients.
Personal statement:
I moved to Ohio eleven years ago and a friend gave me a Bible verse which I have tucked under the visor in my car. It is worn and softened, having travelled with me on many journeys, but it has always served as a reminder that I am not alone. I believe we are not meant to walk this world alone. Though we are each on our own journeys, it is my passion to serve others by meeting people where they are at and, together, creating hopeful growth and transformation. My goal is to provide a safe space where others can explore and empower themselves for their ultimate healing and restoration. Uncertainty is weathered better together than alone.
