Personal statement:

The journey of embarking upon mental health treatment can be overwhelming for all involved because our mental health deals with our inner world, a place that is unseen by the naked eye. This inner world that I reference represents one’s mind. The act of properly caring for our mind and overall mental health is challenging in a world that encourages mindlessness over mindfulness. As a clinician, I strive to aid my clients in being mindful and intentional about their lives. It is my heart to respect fully the diverse walks of life and worldview of all my clients by fostering a nonjudgmental and inclusive environment. I view my clients as the experts of their own lives and I only serve as a resource for them to learn and implement the necessary tools and supportive measures to attain their set goals of wellness.
