Bachelor’s degree in 2020 in Criminology from Cleveland State University and master’s degree in social work in 2022 also from Cleveland State University.

License:

Licensed Social Worker with the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.

Experience:

Bryan obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2020 in Criminology and master’s degree in social work in 2022. He has provided addiction counseling for over 15 years. In addition, Bryan assisted men, adolescents, and families navigate through challenging circumstances and barriers encountered in life. Because of that work, Bryan collaborated with school systems, recreation centers, the judicial system, and all prisons within the state of Ohio. While working within the prison system, Bryan received specific training to work with couples that allowed them to improve their communication which helped lead to a healthier relationship. He’s offered his support for others in youth and adult prison ministry as well as when he was working as a chaplain at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Justice Center. Bryan was a co-founder and facilitator of a re-entry program targeting both men and women by helping them obtain and maintain employment. The program offered classes to help build self-esteem, improve communication skills, and develop and sustain healthy relationships, while working on changing destructive thoughts and behaviors.

Personal statement:

I truly believe when we go through life struggles, we should look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He has the power to rewrite our circumstances as long as we are willing to have faith and keep our eyes on Him.
