Experience:
I have experience in hospitals, schools, and community based agencies working with children, adolescents, families and young adults. My recent focus has been working with children and teaching social emotional skills. Specific treatment areas include trauma, foster care, anxiety/depression, ADHD, anger, grief/loss, chronic illness, parent-child conflict as well as a variety of other mental health disorders.
Personal statement:
Opening up takes courage and vulnerability. I strive to create a safe space; my purpose is to be a support to clients with an empathetic approach and positive regard. With a collaborative approach together we can process events, emotions, and identify any underlying issues and patterns or behaviors that may be inhibiting an individual from feeling their most authentic self.
